Experienced Hires

Senior associate, manager and director opportunities across all eight practice areas for professionals ready for greater client responsibility.

Experienced Hires

Senior responsibility. Direct partner access. Genuine progression.

About this pathway.

Corson Fiske is actively hiring experienced professionals across tax, accounting, restructuring, corporate advisory and corporate finance. We are looking for people who have built solid technical foundations at a major firm, specialist boutique or in-house, and who are now ready for a role with more direct client exposure, more partner-level mentorship and more meaningful ownership of outcomes.

The value proposition for experienced hires at Corson Fiske is simple: smaller teams, bigger matters, direct partner access, and a genuine say in the work you take on. We do not run multi-layered engagement teams where senior associates spend their time on review cycles and administration. Our engagements are sized so that experienced hires can lead workstreams, present to clients, and make the judgement calls their level warrants.

We are not a training firm for people who want to spend five years before seeing a client. We are also not a churn firm that burns out hires on unreasonable utilisation. What we are is a firm with genuine professional work, committed partners and a culture that values long careers over short-term metrics.

What we offer

  • Direct client responsibility from your first engagement
  • Partner mentorship and active development planning
  • Transparent progression with clear criteria to director and partner level
  • Competitive remuneration benchmarked against mid-tier and specialist firms
  • International secondment opportunities to Singapore and Auckland
  • Flexible working arrangements consistent with professional client service
  • A genuine seat at the table in how the practice is run
  • The ability to build a book of business with partner support

Who we hire

We recruit experienced professionals across all eight of our practice areas: restructuring and turnaround, corporate advisory, communications, technology, accounting and tax, legal (through Corson Fiske ILP), corporate finance, and intellectual property. Typical backgrounds include Big Four advisory, specialist restructuring firms, independent corporate finance houses, boutique tax practices and in-house commercial roles.

We are particularly interested in professionals with three to fifteen years of post-qualification experience who want more direct client work and partner access than their current role provides. If you are technically strong, commercially confident and tired of the politics of large firms, there is a good chance we would be a good fit.

How to join us.

We keep the process short, direct and honest — because we would rather spend time getting to know you than processing paperwork.
