Corporate Advisory

Planning & Business Growth

Growth plans built on honest numbers, realistic assumptions and disciplined execution.

Corporate Advisory

Strategic counsel to boards and executives shaping the next phase of growth.

How we help.

Most business plans fail at the same place: the transition from ambition to evidence. Growth targets are set without a clear view of the underlying unit economics, the market opportunity is overstated, the capability gaps are ignored, and the funding requirement is underestimated. The result is a plan the board cannot defend and the bank will not fund.

Corson Fiske helps owners, CEOs and finance teams build growth plans that stand up to scrutiny. We combine market analysis, detailed financial modelling, and capability assessment into an integrated document that informs decisions across the business — from capital allocation to hiring to operational priorities.

Our process is deliberately collaborative. The plan has to be owned by management, not by us. We bring the structure and the analytical discipline, management bring the market knowledge and the commercial instincts, and together we produce something that reflects both.

Capabilities

  • Market sizing and competitive analysis
  • Three- to five-year integrated financial modelling
  • Unit economics and contribution analysis
  • Capital requirements and funding strategy
  • Operational capability and gap assessment
  • KPI framework and management reporting design
  • Scenario and sensitivity testing
  • Board and investor presentation development

When clients engage us.

Every engagement is different, but the issues that bring clients through our door tend to fall into familiar patterns.

The bank has asked for a business plan

Lenders are requiring a forward plan to support an existing facility or a new funding request. We prepare a document that will satisfy the bank while also being genuinely useful to management.

Shareholders need alignment

Multiple shareholders hold different views on the direction of the business. We facilitate the analytical and commercial work needed to arrive at a shared plan.

A growth initiative needs a business case

A specific expansion — a new site, a new product line, an acquisition — needs proper financial and commercial analysis before capital is committed.

Management reporting is not informing decisions

The board is receiving reports but not actionable insight. We redesign the KPI framework and reporting pack to surface what matters.

A shareholder dispute is threatening the business

Disagreements between shareholders or directors are affecting the business itself. Independent strategic advisory can break the deadlock before it becomes destructive.

Succession planning has been deferred too long

The next generation of leadership has not been identified or prepared. Independent advisory on structure, timing and process is now urgent.

What you can expect.

  • A board-quality plan supported by integrated financial modelling
  • Clear identification of the capital required and when
  • Defined KPIs and a reporting framework to track progress
  • A document that works for internal, board and external audiences

What clients need to know.

Engaging external advisors on any significant matter raises practical questions about scope, timing, cost and outcomes. We believe in being straightforward about each of these from the first conversation.

How engagements typically begin

Every engagement starts with a confidential initial conversation — usually 30 to 60 minutes — in which we listen to the situation, ask the questions needed to understand it properly, and share a view on whether and how we can help. There is no charge for this conversation and no obligation to proceed.

How we scope and price work

We prefer fixed-fee or capped-fee arrangements wherever the scope allows. Where the scope is genuinely uncertain — as in contested matters — we agree hourly rates upfront and provide regular fee updates against defined phases. We do not bill for internal discussions, file opening or routine administration.

Who you will work with

Every engagement is led by a partner with direct experience in the matter type. That partner remains your primary point of contact throughout. Specialist colleagues join the team where their expertise is required, but you will never be passed from person to person or find the partner you hired is no longer on the file.

How we handle confidentiality and privilege

All engagements are subject to strict confidentiality. Where legal advice is being delivered, it is provided through our incorporated legal practice and attracts legal professional privilege. We take document security, information handling and communications discipline seriously on every matter.
